O trabalho foi realizado com o objetivo de avaliar a intensidade desfolha, taxa retorno e as características estruturais do milheto (Pennisetum americanum (L.) Leeke) pastejado por bezerras corte em dois estádios fenológicos dessa forrageira. Foi utilizado método pastejo lotação contínua número variável animais para manter altura dossel entre 30 40 cm. delineamento experimental inteiramente casualizado fenológicos, vegetativo pré-reprodutivo, oito repetições área. total folhas 21,8% maior no estádio vegetativo. A densidade populacional perfilhos basais (116,0/m²) axilares (101,4 perfilhos/m²) semelhante nos estádios. desfolha média 47% geral 5,6 dias. Cada bezerra pastejou uma área 395,3 m²/dia. As lâminas foliares foram pastejadas 4,7 vezes durante duração da vida folha acúmulo térmico observado os intervalos suficiente que 1,2 nova fosse emitida antes próximo evento desfolha. mantiveram estratégia similar avaliados das expandidas expansão.
